This is a substantial book! With a history lesson on every page, It encourages Catholic thought through the lives of Catholics... their faith, actions, insight, and sometimes martyrdom. Inspirational. I bought two and will use the second one as a gift!

This was a pleasant surprise! Each day is a short story about ordinary people drawing on their Catholic faith to make decisions on how best to serve The Lord. A great variety of eras, interests and historical facts. This would make a great gift.
